What does NAD+ do?

NAD+ helps your cells turn food into energy and supports enzymes that maintain DNA. LIV offers it as a compounded injection.

How does LIV Health ensure quality and safety?

A provider licensed in your state reviews your health history before prescribing and reviews your care before each refill. Any compounded medicine comes from a licensed pharmacy. Your care team is available between refills.

What am I paying for?

No membership fee. Your plan includes medicine, shipping and ongoing support, with provider review before every refill at no extra cost. You're billed on the schedule you choose and can skip a shipment or cancel anytime from your account.

You Know How You Want to Feel. It Starts in Every Cell.

Feel more in the tank

Every cell you have converts food into usable energy, and that conversion runs on NAD+.

Built to bounce back

Your DNA takes small hits every day. The enzymes that repair it spend NAD+ to do the work.

Firing on all cylinders

Cells coordinate through enzymes that manage stress and signaling. Those enzymes depend on NAD+.

These descriptions explain cellular roles of NAD+. They do not establish improved energy, recovery or focus from LIV’s NAD+ products. Cellular-role evidence.

Your NAD+ Peaked Years Ago.

Wondering how NAD+ changes as you get older? Here’s a look at levels in healthy adults of different ages.

Early 50s

Plasma NAD+ was significantly lower than in adults in their 20s.*

Every year

Levels declined continuously from age 20 to 87.*

Sources and study details

* Clement et al., Rejuvenation Research (2019). Cross-sectional study of 29 healthy adults aged 20–87 (group mean ages 22.8, 52.8, and 76.9); small sample, largely Caucasian U.S. participants. These findings describe how NAD+ levels change with age. They are not results from LIV’s NAD+ products and do not show that raising NAD+ improves energy, aging, or any health outcome.

Help Center

Find answers to common questions about treatments, results, prescriptions and what to expect. Still have questions?

How does LIV work?

Start with an online health form. A licensed provider reviews your information and decides whether to prescribe. If prescribed, your medicine is delivered to you. You'll complete a short questionnaire before each refill and check in every three months.

Do I need an in-person appointment?

You start online, with no appointment to book. A licensed provider reviews your answers and decides whether treatment is right for you. The consult takes about five to seven minutes.

How long does it take to get my prescription?

A licensed provider reviews your intake within 48 hours. Once approved and in stock before 1 PM Eastern, the pharmacy ships that day. After approval, delivery usually takes 3 to 5 days. Compounding can add time.

Will NAD+ injections make me feel more energetic?

There is not enough evidence to know whether NAD+ injections improve day-to-day energy. NAD+ has an essential role inside cells, but that alone does not tell us how you might feel after an injection. Tell your provider about tiredness or other changes so they can review what may be causing them.

Who decides whether this is right for me?

A licensed provider reviews your health history. They decide whether treatment is right for you, choose your dose and how much to prescribe, and review your plan before refills.

What does compounded mean?

Compounded means a licensed pharmacy mixes the medicine for one person. It is not made in large batches. The FDA does not approve compounded medicines for safety, quality or how they are made.

Can I change, skip or cancel my plan?

Yes. You can change your plan, skip a shipment or cancel from your account. If you want to change your treatment or dose, discuss it with your provider.

How does a provider choose between the three NAD+ formats?

Tell your provider which format you'd prefer and if you have trouble absorbing medicine through your gut. They'll review your health history and help you choose an injection, nasal spray or oral drops.

What is a coenzyme?

A coenzyme helps enzymes do their work. NAD+ is one example: more than 400 enzymes need it. Enzymes drive the chemical reactions your cells rely on.
