How does LIV work?

You fill out a short health form online. A licensed provider reviews it and decides if treatment is right for you. If it is, your prescription ships to your door. You answer a few questions before each refill, and you check in every three months. You never have to visit a clinic.

Do I need to see a doctor in person?

No. There is no appointment to book. You answer questions online whenever it suits you. A licensed provider reviews your answers and decides if treatment is right for you. The whole thing takes about five to seven minutes.

How long does it take to get my prescription?

A licensed provider reviews your intake within 48 hours. Once approved and in stock before 1 PM Eastern, the pharmacy ships that day. After approval, delivery usually takes 3 to 5 days. Compounding can add time.

When will my provider review my plan?

Before each refill, tell us how you're doing. Your provider reviews your progress and adjusts your plan as needed. You'll also have a check-in every three months.

Who decides whether this is right for me?

A licensed provider reviews your health form and decides whether treatment is right for you. They choose your dose and how much medicine to prescribe.

What does compounded mean?

Compounded means a licensed pharmacy mixes the medicine for one person. It is not made in large batches. The FDA does not approve compounded medicines for safety, quality or how they are made.

Can I change, skip or cancel my plan?

Yes. You can change your plan, skip a shipment or cancel from your account. If you want to change your treatment or dose, discuss it with your provider.

What do the enzymes that need NAD actually do?

More than 400 enzymes use NAD+. Some help turn nutrients from food into usable energy; others help maintain DNA, regulate genes and send signals between cells. These roles explain what NAD+ does in cells, but do not establish how an NAD+ prescription will make you feel.

Can I take this if I already use nicotinamide riboside?

Tell your provider that you take nicotinamide riboside before adding NAD+. They may decide not to prescribe NAD+ alongside it. Include all your medicines and supplements in your health form so they can review what you already take.

Will NAD+ oral drops make me feel more energetic?

There is not enough evidence to know whether NAD+ oral drops improve day-to-day energy. NAD+ helps cells use energy from food, but that alone does not tell us how you might feel after taking it. Discuss tiredness or other changes with your provider.
