* Van Cauter et al., JAMA (2000): 149 healthy, normal-weight men aged 16–83; data combined from sleep-laboratory studies at four centers between 1985 and 1999. Men only; observational. Early-adulthood group: ages 16–25; midlife group: ages 36–50. These findings describe how sleep and growth hormone change with age. The study did not test sermorelin and does not show that sermorelin restores deep sleep, growth hormone levels, or any health outcome.

** Vitiello et al., 2006: 100 adults ages 60 to 85 entered the randomized, placebo-controlled study; 89 completed it. Six months of injected sermorelin acetate (GEREF), initially 1 mg nightly, with dose adjustment in some participants. Improvements appeared on several cognitive tests and did not depend on gender or estrogen status. This is not evidence of dementia prevention, longer life, or a percentage improvement in everyday memory. Participants were older than the midlife group in the sleep study; this study did not test adults ages 35–55.

How does LIV work?

You fill out a short health form online. A licensed provider reviews it and decides if treatment is right for you. If it is, your prescription ships to your door. You answer a few questions before each refill, and you check in every three months. Your provider will explain any follow-up tests.

Do I need to see a doctor in person?

No. There is no appointment to book. You answer questions online whenever it suits you. A licensed provider reviews your answers and decides if treatment is right for you. The whole thing takes about five to seven minutes.

How long does it take to get my prescription?

A licensed provider reviews your intake within 48 hours. Once approved and in stock before 1 PM Eastern, the pharmacy ships that day. After approval, delivery usually takes 3 to 5 days. Compounding can add time.

When will my provider review my plan?

Before each refill, tell us how you're doing. Your provider reviews your progress and adjusts your plan as needed. You'll also have a check-in every three months.

Who decides whether this is right for me?

What does compounded mean?

What does my provider check while I am on sermorelin?

LIV's protocol calls for an IGF-1 blood test at 2 to 6 weeks. Your provider reviews the result alongside your sleep data and how you feel.

Is there a maximum sermorelin dose?

Yes. LIV's prescribing protocol sets a starting dose and a maximum. Your provider may increase the dose if you tolerate it, while staying within that limit. Do not increase your dose on your own.
