You’ve Got Goals. Hunger Doesn’t Have to Run the Day.

Understand your hunger

Tirzepatide acts on two hormone pathways involved in appetite: GIP and GLP-1.*

Help with eating less

Approved tirzepatide injections reduce calorie intake, likely through their effects on appetite.*

Keep your goals in focus

Your provider reviews progress before each refill and adjusts treatment as needed.

* These findings describe approved tirzepatide injections, not LIV’s compounded formula. Equivalent results are not established for this preparation, which is not FDA-approved. Zepbound prescribing information, sections 12.1–12.2.

Sources and study details

* Rodriguez et al., JAMA Internal Medicine (2024): observational study of 18,386 matched adults receiving Ozempic (semaglutide) or Mounjaro (tirzepatide); 52% had type 2 diabetes. Figures describe Mounjaro users still on treatment, not men-specific results. Actual doses were not verified; discontinuation ended follow-up for 55.9% of tirzepatide users. Each milestone is a separately published estimate, including statistical imputation for missing weights, not a prorated annual result. Percentages represent cumulative loss from starting weight and should not be added together. Mounjaro use for weight management is off-label. Results concern approved Mounjaro injections, not LIV’s compounded formula, which is not FDA-approved; individual results vary.

Help Center

Find answers to common questions about treatments, results, prescriptions and what to expect. Still have questions?

How does LIV work?

Start with an online health form. Labs are required for this treatment. A licensed provider reviews your information and decides whether to prescribe. If prescribed, your medicine is delivered to you. You'll complete a short questionnaire before each refill and check in every three months.

Do I need an in-person appointment?

Your intake starts online, without booking an appointment. Labs are required for this treatment. A licensed provider reviews your history and results before prescribing.

How long does it take to get my prescription?

A licensed provider reviews your intake within 48 hours. Your labs must also be reviewed before approval. Once approved and in stock before 1 PM Eastern, the pharmacy ships that day. After approval, delivery usually takes 3 to 5 days. Compounding can add time.

When might I notice changes in hunger or weight?

There is no established start date for changes in hunger or weight with this compounded prescription. Results vary. Tell your provider what changes you notice so they can review your progress.

Who decides whether this is right for me?

A licensed provider reviews your health history and lab results. They decide whether treatment is right for you, choose your dose and how much to prescribe, and review your plan before refills.

What does compounded mean?

Compounded means a licensed pharmacy mixes the medicine for one person. It is not made in large batches. The FDA does not approve compounded medicines for safety, quality or how they are made.

Can I change, skip or cancel my plan?

Yes. You can change your plan, skip a shipment or cancel from your account. If you want to change your treatment or dose, discuss it with your provider.

Where should I give my injection?

Follow the instructions for your prescribed medicine and device. The approved labels for Mounjaro, Zepbound, Ozempic and Wegovy list the abdomen, thigh and upper arm, but their directions vary, including when another person must give an upper-arm injection. Those brand-label instructions do not replace the directions for your compounded prescription.

How does compounded tirzepatide differ from a branded injection?

This is a compounded preparation, mixed for one patient. It is not an FDA-approved product. Research and label facts about tirzepatide do not establish the same results for this preparation. Your provider reviews your health history and required labs before prescribing.

What serious thyroid risks should I discuss?

The FDA-approved Zepbound label has a boxed warning for thyroid C-cell tumors. Tirzepatide caused these tumors in rats; it is not known whether it does so in people. Zepbound must not be used by anyone with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), or with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).

Tell your provider about a lump in your neck, trouble swallowing, shortness of breath or persistent hoarseness. The label says routine calcitonin blood tests or thyroid ultrasound are of uncertain value for finding MTC early. Discuss these risks when considering compounded tirzepatide too.
